LMNTL.vision was crafted for a client seeking fun and interactivity. Our goal was to create an environment where users feel immersed in the content, enjoying both the content and the journey.

• Innovative scrolling : Utilizing Locomotive Scroll, The site offers a seamless horizontal and vertical scrolling experience. The site also takes full advantage of frustrum based parallax that brings a sense of action and dynamism that aligns perfectly with the clients vibrant brand.

A Collaborative Effort

This project was a true collaborative effort, merging technical excellence with creative vision. Working closely with my incredibly talented designer friend, we brought together the best of both worlds to create a site that not only functions beautifully but also looks stunning. Our combined skills and insights were key to realizing the client's vision and delivering an exceptional final product.

Dynamic position based action and visuals

One of the standout features of LMNTL.vision is the dynamic mouse cursor that changes direction based on user interaction. This functionality was achieved by dividing the screen into quadrants and detecting the quadrant where the mouse is located. Depending on the quadrant, the cursor transforms into either a side-to-side arrow or an up-and-down arrow, intuitively guiding users through the horizontal and vertical scrolling experience. This clever piece of code not only enhances the site's interactivity but also adds a layer of intuitive navigation, making the user experience seamless and engaging.

LESSONS LEARNED

While working on this project I learned how important not just collaborating with my designer, but also how important it is to be collaborative with my clients. This project pushed my technical know how and capabilities to places I never knew that It could go and more than anything else cemented for me, that I enjoyed what I was doing and that I was in the right field of work.
